ESTA application for Spanish

The Visa Waiver Program (VWP) permits citizens of certain countries to visit the United States for motives of business or tourism, and for a period of less than 90 days it is not necessary to obtain a visa. Not all the countries participate in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP). In the list of the countries is mentioned Spain. Here we explain what is necessary for obtain ESTA to Spanish.




As we said before you can be eligible to visit the United States without a visa under the Visa Waiver Program if you are going for business, tourism (during 90 days more or less) or transit. Also you need to have an onward or return ticket through an airline company or commercial cruise. Please note that your passport must have a machine-readable zone on the biographical page. If you currently have a valid visitor’s visa, this is not necessary to apply for ESTA.

Before travelling to the United States, all holders of a Spanish passport visiting or transiting in the United States under the VWP must apply for an ESTA, preferably at least 3 days prior to travel. Travellers who do not have a valid ESTA before travelling may be denied boarding, experience delayed processing or be denied admission at a U.S. port of entry. If you wish to work, study, or stay more than 90 days, you are not eligible for entry under the VWP on an ESTA and you must obtain a visa before travelling. Also please note that if you have been denied an interior visit or has been arrested or convicted of a crime, has a criminal record, or if within some of the categories defined by law as inadmissible to the United States, cannot travel under the Visa Waiver Program and you must apply for a visa.
