New question on the form to get ESTA

To have more control over visitors to the United States, the US Department of Homeland Security approved the modification of the ESTA application and now all travelers who want to enter the country through the Visa Waiver Program will have to provide information about their social network profiles.


US authorities added a new field in ESTA applica, Electronic System for Travel Authorization, should write the account of some of the social networks. Possible options include the following social networks: Facebook, VKontakte, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Tumblr and others.

Applicant may pass and not answer this question, as the information is not considered essential for the approval of the Travel Authorization or stay in the United States. The US Customs and Border Protection Office indicated that they will review the information that VWP travelers make on their social networks.

In the ESTA application on the www.usa-esta-org.com this field no used in order to simplify the process of applying to ESTA.
