Frequently asked questions about ESTA

What do you need to apply for ESTA?

For obtain a travel authorization for travel to the U.S. you need to fulfill the following conditions:

- You are the citizen of country which eligible for ESTA;
- You have a valid biometric or electronic passport with a machine-readable zone on the     biographical page;
- Your trip to the USA is less than 3 months (or 90 days);
- You travel to the USA by air or sea and for pleasure, business or transit;
- You are currently not have a valid visitor visa;
- You have onward or return ticket.

When should you apply for ESTA authorization?

You can apply for your ESTA authorization as soon as you decide to travel to the United States. It can be applied up to 72 hours (3 days) before the travel date, but we recommend that you submit your ESTA application by completing the form available on our website Usa-esta-org.com as soon as possible.

When is a response about the ESTA application?

In most cases we will return a response about the application status within 6-12 hours. In cases where more time is needed to process an electronic travel authorization application, we will send an informative email during the next 24 hours and we will send the definitive answer within 48 hours (maximum). Be sure to check the Spam folder of your email inbox.

How long is travel authorization valid?

Travel authorization is generally valid for two years from the date it was obtained, or until a passport expires, whichever comes first. The date of expiration you can see in your travel authorization, it is shown next to the application number. During this period you may reuse your authorization for other trips to the United States, if they have the same conditions and your personal data have not change. Is it necessary to print the ESTA?

During your travel, no other document will be requested other than your passport. The ESTA system is entirely electronic which means that the immigration services, and your travel company, will be automatically informed of your authorization to travel to the United States. However, we recommended to print out your ESTA authorization and take it with your trip. Border officials of the United States will have the electronic record of your ESTA authorization, but when you check in for your flight, your airline or carrier may require the printout.

What can you do if ESTA application is denied?

If an ESTA application is denied and you wish to continue with the trip, you will be required to apply for a nonimmigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate in your home country. The denial of a travel authorization only prohibits travel under the Visa Waiver Program and is not a determination of eligibility for a visa to travel to the United States. How to modify ESTA application form?

Before you pay for submitting an electronic application on website Usa-esta-org.com, you can update all application data fields. In this case you need to contact us at anytime by email info@usa-esta-org.com or our service "Contact us".

If you submit an application on the website of the US Department of Homeland Security, you can NOT update passport issuing country and the passport number.

If you have approved application, you can still update only email address and the address where you will stay in the United States. However, it is possible to change any information you want, but this will lead to a new ESTA-procedure. Please note that this action will negate the validity of your current approved traveling permit, because it will be replaced.

What is the price of ESTA application?
